A graduate of Dartmouth Medical School with a residency at Yale University, Dr. Latifzai realized early that preventing chronic disease and maximizing lifelong wellness could make as much difference as life-saving procedures in the ER. This insight led him to co-found Rocky Mountain Regenerative Medicine, where he combines stem cell therapy and non-surgical orthopedics to help individuals heal from pain and injury while optimizing cognitive function.

Today, Dr. Latifzai serves not only elite and amateur athletes but also busy professionals seeking to preserve and enhance their vitality. An affiliate of the Cell Surgical Network and author of several published articles, he champions cutting-edge interventions—ranging from advanced biologics to comprehensive hormone and nutritional strategies—so his patients can thrive at every stage of life.

Specializes in regenerative medicine, stem cell therapy, longevity medicine, and extensive biomarker interpretation, drawing on his Emergency Medicine background to provide minimally invasive solutions for pain, injury recovery, and comprehensive health optimization. Sarah brings nearly two decades of medical experience to Rocky Mountain Regenerative Medicine. After earning her B.S. in Biochemistry from Tufts University, she completed her physician assistant training at Weill Cornell Medical College and built a strong foundation in general, vascular, and orthopedic surgery. Over time, she expanded her expertise into regenerative and functional medicine, completing advanced training in IV therapy, regenerative procedures, and psychedelic-assisted therapy at Naropa University.

While she recognizes that surgery has an important time and place, her years in the operating room also revealed how often patients required interventions for conditions that might have been prevented. This perspective deepened her commitment to regenerative and functional medicine—addressing root causes early, supporting the body’s innate healing process, and helping patients preserve long-term health and vitality. At RMRM, her clinical focus includes biomarker-driven optimization, hormone and longevity therapies, and regenerative interventions that move beyond symptom management toward lasting vitality.

Outside of her medical practice, Sarah is a certified yoga teacher in both the ShambhavAnanda and Kundalini traditions, as well as a massage therapist. She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her two sons, creating jewelry, and spending time hiking, skiing, sailing, and attending live music.
